1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Grumpy Music ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.

2. The Service

Grumpy Music provides AI-powered music reviews and analysis. Users can upload audio tracks and receive detailed feedback from AI-generated expert personas, including an A&R persona, a Producer persona, and an Audio Engineer persona. The Service also offers community scoring, expert opinion chats, and an insights blog.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Uploaded Content & Music Rights

Ownership: You retain full ownership of any music, audio files, lyrics, or other content you upload to the Service. Grumpy Music does not claim any ownership rights over your uploaded content.

Audio File Handling: Audio files you upload are stored temporarily for the purpose of analysis. They are not shared with other users, sold, or distributed. Files may be retained for a reasonable period to provide the Service (e.g., playback within your reviews) and may be deleted periodically.

Acceptable Use: You must only upload music that you own or have the legal right to submit for review. Do not upload copyrighted material belonging to others without proper authorisation. Grumpy Music reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this policy.

5. AI-Generated Reviews

Reviews generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended as constructive feedback to help improve your music. They do not constitute professional industry advice and carry no guarantee of commercial success, label interest, or any specific outcome. The opinions expressed in AI reviews are simulated personas and do not represent the views of any real person or organisation.

6. Credits, Payments & Subscriptions

The Service operates on a credit-based system. You receive free credits upon registration. Additional credits can be purchased, and subscription plans are available for regular users. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are displayed in USD.

Refunds: Credits are non-refundable once used for a review. For unused credit purchases, please contact us within 14 days of purchase to request a refund. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Grumpy Music brand, logos, AI models, website design, and all related intellectual property are owned by Grumpy Music. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or technology without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Grumpy Music is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or misuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
