The song was written during one stream of consciousness in 30 minutes with minimal edits, actually I just chopped some off the ending. That's it so it's basically a raw journal rant. I've been experimenting with this style of writing and it seems to work well. When I over edit, change lyrics, restructure my songs, they lose the raw energy and intention of something like this track that was not tampered with. Thanks for listening.

Pagan folk song / winter hymn inspired by the legend of the Yule log. Part of a series of songs inspired by the Celtic-Norse annual cycle of festivals (solstices, equinoxes). A duet between Fire and Winter. This is a remaster of an existing track that’s already available on streaming services. It was originally a single, but I re-recorded it to fit with the upcoming album (8 songs) *Where the Worlds Wear Thin*, about the eight festivals of the Celtic Wheel.
